The Buddhist Center - Rissho Kosei-kai International of North America (RKINA)

The Buddhist Center – RKINA was founded in 2008 in Irvine, Orange County, California, to help support Dharma development in the United States. The Center has inherited the founder’s spirit of creating unity in the world. We moved to our current location in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, in March 2014. We joyfully share the teachings of Ekayana (One Vehicle) Buddhism to bring peace to our families, communities, nations, and the world.

We offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with:

  • A reference library available with books from all Buddhist traditions
  • DVDs on a variety of subjects
  • Ekayana (One Vehicle) books for sale

Join us for a cup of tea and nourishment for the soul.

Rev. Takashi Kodaka is the Director and Rev. Itsuo Fujii is the Secretary/CFO of RKINA Buddhist Center in Los Angeles. Rissho Kosei-kai International of North America is also supported by assistant ministers Rev. Nicholas Ozuna and Rev. Ken Nagata.
